a couple months ago i went to this shelter and i noticed they had a special were u can get adult cats free and i was just looking at the cats, with no intention to adopt one and out of all of the cats there was one cat that i KNEW i had to have and the one that i knew would love me forever, other people came up to her cage and was playing with her but once that they read on her paper that she was deaf(which is common in pure white cats), they just left and i knew no one would want her and that i could love her more than ANYONE could, and we brought her home, at first she was very scared but after a couple days it was like she had lived here all her life, her name used to be Molly but we renamed her Jasmine, her previous owner commited sucide 1 or 2 years ago and the family members that were taking care of her didnt want her anymore simply because she loved to climb on counter tops and i truely think that they were stupid for giving up such a wonderful cat, she likes to try to play with my other cat, Sassy which is around 10 years old but sassy is more of a relaxed cat except for the odd day were she will act like a little kitten and i would like to give back to this animal shelter
